We will be hearing from Helen Tran – Candidate for Mayor of San Bernardino, and DeJonaé Shaw – Candidate for San Bernardino County Supervisor. Both candidates will introduce themselves, provide an update on their campaigns, and discuss some of the challenges they have faced running as women of color.
Please review the November Meeting Agenda as well as the new proposed bylaws. We will be voting to approve these bylaws at the November meeting.
Riverside County NOW will not be having a meeting in October; however, we will be meeting next month on November 18, 2021. The meeting details will be announced later.
Members of Riverside County NOW marched for reproductive rights along with Inland Empire Women’s March in Riverside on Saturday, October 1, 2021. There was an awesome energy and turnout!

Mr. Long will tell us about the important services that are provided at Option House, Inc. which includes 24-Hour Crisis Intervention Shelter, Outreach Services, Legal Referrals, Education and Awareness for victims of family violence.

We will be hearing from Cheylynda Barnard – Candidate for Moreno Valley City Council, and Brandon Mosely – Candidate for Congressional District 42. Both candidates will give us an update on their campaigns and let us know how Riverside County NOW can help. Riverside County NOW will match total donations made by Riverside County NOW members up to $200 for each candidate.
The Riverside County NOW is working with the Riverside County Democratic Party to help Get Out the Vote (GOTV) campaign against the Recall. These efforts include texting, phonebanking and canvassing to registered voters. The following is a schedule of the GOTV activities:
