February 23, 2023 RC NOW Meeting

Our guest speaker will be Captain Lauren Andrade, currently a Fire Captain/Paramedic in Gardon Grove.  Captain Andrade has collaborated with ACLU SoCal to ensure proper restroom facilities and lactation accommodations in all of OFCA’s fire stations.

Riverside County NOW Cosponsors “Bigger than Roe” Rally on January 22nd

Thank you for everyone who showed up to our rally and others around the country for the 50th anniversary of Roe. Bottom line is Roe may be overturned but it doesn’t mean we are just going to take it, laying down. Look at the faces of people who spoke at our rally today. So much emotions behind this issue and people’s fear of Supreme Court coming after more of our human rights. We got covered in the local press. Join the “Bigger than Roe” Rally

Join the Inland Empire “Bigger than Roe” Rally on Jan 22nd at 11am at Riverside City Hall because FIFTY YEARS after Roe, we are still fighting for reproductive rights. The event is hosted by the National Organization of Women of Riverside County in partnership with Dare to Empower, Women’s March Inland Empire, National Women’s Political Caucus of Pomona/Inland Empire and Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest Riverside.

Where to park: Parking Structure on Orange Street between 9th and 10th Street OR Parking Structure on Market Street between University and Mission Inn OR Parking spots in front of Superior Court

What to bring: Signs, water, hats and folding chairs What to avoid: – Do NOT bring hangers – Do NOT engage anti-rally agitators
